Project Description
Taylor serves as the Associate Synthesizer Programmer for Hamilton: An American Musical. Along with Randy Cohen and Jeremy King, Taylor is responsible for translating Alex Lacamoire’s vision of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s music into something consistently playable for the show’s musicians. He has been a part of setting up every public production of Hamilton from the pre-Broadway run at the Public Theater to its engagement in London’s West End.
Cohen Keyboards handles the tech for the show’s electronic instruments, maintaining the computers which run Ableton programming by Scott Wasserman, preserving Robin Macatangay’s original guitar FX programming, and integrating sound effects edited by music powerhouse William Wells.
